Malaysian teenage phenom 'Jojo' Johan Ghazali has quickly proven himself as one of the fastest-rising stars in ONE Championship. The 17-year-old star is unbeaten in the world's largest martial arts organization and has built a cult following.

Making his promotional debut in February 2023, 'Jojo' made quick work of Padetsuk Fairtex, scoring a lightning-quick 16-second knockout to announce his arrival on the world stage.

Since then, Ghazali has attempted to one-up himself and beat that 16-second finish. The result has been five straight victories in ONE, with four of those victories coming by way of knockout.

Speaking to the South China Morning Post in a recent interview, Ghazali talked about his unique mindset heading into his fights.

'Jojo' said:

"Absolutely, absolutely. Every fight, you know, I'm trying to break my 16-second record. So if I get it in 16 seconds, that will be sick. That's the plan."

Sounds like Ghazali has a proven strategy heading into his next fight. The 17-year-old Malaysian proponent returns to action on a major card in June, and fans will simply not want to miss when 'Jojo' is back in the ONE Championship Circle.
