ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon likes to test his boxing skills in competition. He is not bashful about saying who he wants to pit them against, choosing boxing's only eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines.
The 34-year-old Thai superstar made his interest in taking on 'Pacman' in a boxing match known in an interview with Sportskeeda MMA. He cited that while it is not going to be easy taking on a boxing legend like Pacquiao, a win for him, however, should be a huge accomplishment.
"I could train in boxing. I know it's hard to beat him. Maybe I have, like, 1% to 5% to beat him, but I will take that chance to have fun with him and try to beat him up. If I got beaten, then it's no more, it's like nothing, I lose nothing, but if I can win, I'm the big star, because, like [I] only [have] one fight in boxing and I can beat the world champion. Wow! You think about it," Superbon said.

Pacquiao, 46, has not been actively competing as he used to. He, however, has a scheduled match on July 19 against American Mario Barrios for the WBC welterweight title. He was last in action in August 2021, where he lost by decision to Yordenis Ugas of Cuba.
Superbon, meanwhile, is waiting for his next match in ONE Championship. He last competed in January, where he fell short in his push to add the featherweight Muay Thai belt to his haul with a second-round TKO loss to reigning divisional king Tawanchai PK Saenchai.
Superbon looking forward to unification match against interim kickboxing champion Masaaki Noiri
While he waits for his possible boxing match against Manny Pacquiao, Superbon is bracing for a possible match next against interim featherweight kickboxing champion Masaaki Noiri of Japan.
Noiri claimed the interim belt with a third-round TKO of Tawanchai PK Saenchai at ONE 172 in March. The win set himself up for a unification title showdown against reigning world champion Superbon.
In an interview with Sportskeeda MMA, the Thai champion shared his thoughts on taking on Noiri, saying:
"Yeah, of course, I got to fight him, right? Because, like, he has the interim belt. Also for me, I'm preparing to fight him already because I have to fight him anywhere, so I'm starting to train, and I'll be ready for a fight."
Superbon used to hold the interim championship belt until he was elevated to undisputed world champion after former champion Chingiz Allazov decided to step away from the game for now.
