An Italian MMA prospect recently claimed that Conor McGregor's coach John Kavanagh nicknamed him 'The Gigolo,'

While speaking with MMA reporter Andy Stevenson, SBG Ireland welterweight Daniele Scatizzi spoke about his experience training at SBG Ireland. During the interview, he revealed that Kavanagh has different nicknames for him.

He said:

"To be honest, he call me every time in different ways. Sometimes 'The Gigolo', sometimes 'The Capitan.'...Don't ask me why...[why 'The Capitan' nickname] Probably because I'm the captain of all the Italians here. Because right now we are I think 15-16 people Italian in the pro team."

Although SBG Ireland is synonymous with McGregor and the Irish fighters, Scatizzi is one of many Italians training at the gym. He also revealed that he believes he is the best cook at the SBG Ireland dorm and mentioned what food he likes to cook, saying:

"I'm really good cook a lot of kind of pasta because, you know, when we speak about pasta you think pasta Bolognese with tomato sauce, but we can make a lot of kind of pasta and I'm really good on this."

The Italian welterweight returns to action at Bellator 291, where he will welcome undefeated prospect Dmytrii Hrytsenko to the promotion. The event will take place at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland, next Saturday, February 25.
