Jake Paul and Tommy Fury have been beefing for almost two years now over a potential boxing fight. However, Paul now claims to have no personal vendetta against Fury.

'The Problem Child' has been widely criticized for building a boxing career off of fighting washed-out MMA fighters. Paul claims that his grouse with Fury is a manifestation of his anger towards his critics.

However, that doesn't mean 'The Problem Child' has a great opinion of his upcoming opponent. According to Paul, Fury puts up an entire charade to live up to the legacy of his family, which has also produced heavyweight champ Tyson Fury. The 25-year-old said in an interview with BT Sport:

"It's not even about it being him. More so about the critics who have said, 'Fight a real boxer' and 'fight someone your age'. I'm taking out my anger towards them on Tommy. I do think that he's like a arrogant kid who doesn't really believe what he's saying. He's kind of just emulating his father and his brother. I would say he's like an imposter in that sense. He has this false bravado and false confidence. And I see right through it."

Tommy Fury responds to Jake Paul's 'family name' digs

Tommy Fury vs. Jake Paul has been booked twice before but fell through both times. It has now been booked for a third time for February 26 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The two even recently had an in-ring face-off at the Artur Beterbiev vs. Anthony Yarde fight in London. However, Paul is still skeptical about Fury making it to the fight and has a backup in place: former UFC fighter Mike Perry.

'The Problem Child' also described his upcoming opponent as the family 'puppet' who is trying hard to live up to the family name. However, Fury claims to feel 'no pressure' because of the family name. 'TNT' told BBC Newsbeat:

"There's no pressure on me... I'm not Tyson. I'll never be Tyson. Tyson comes along in a hundred years... I'm just trying to be the best version of myself."

However, if he wins against Paul, Tommy Fury won't follow the tradition of breaking into a song like his half-brother Tyson. Fury also claimed that his partner Molly Mae's pregnancy won't affect his fight against Jake Paul.
