Jake Paul is still undefeated after a competitive showdown against former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva.

The highly anticipated eight-round cruiserweight bout took place on Saturday, October 29, at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona.

Judges Paul Calderon (77-74), Dennis O’Connell (78-73), and Chris Wilson (78-73) saw the bout in favor of Paul, who went the distance with his childhood hero. Paul improved to a perfect 6-0 and added a legendary name to his resume.

The fight was uneventful in the beginning, with Silva essentially throwing nothing within the first minute. Meanwhile, Paul didn't land very many punches either but clearly edged his opponent with volume.

After a relatively close series of rounds, Silva showed some sense of urgency by stalking Paul as soon as the eighth round started. However, 'The Spider' made a crucial mistake by aggressively pursuing 'The Problem Child.'

Watch Jake Paul drop Anderson Silva:

Silva dropped to the canvas after eating a massive right hand from Paul. With less than 30 seconds to work with until the final bell, an exhausted Silva had very little time to make up for his error.

Nonetheless, Silva pushed forward, looking for a miraculous shot to bail him out of a certain defeat. However, Paul was able to hang on and convince all three judges that he had done enough to win. The 47-year-old UFC icon did not dispute the decision, admitting that it was difficult for him to fight a young gun at this point in his career.

Jake Paul calls out Nate Diaz, 'Canelo' Alvarez after beating Anderson Silva

Jake Paul took shots at Nate Diaz and Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez during his post-fight interview with Ariel Helwani.

'The Problem Child' called out Diaz and Alvarez – two fighters who have been critical of his achievements. Paul also challenged both men to fight him, saying:

"Anderson is just the start, baby. I want Nate Diaz, who's a b*tch. He tried to come into my locker room. He tried to cause some sh*t and then he always leaves the f***ing arena. So Nate Diaz, stop being a b*tch and fight me. And 'Canelo' [Saul Alvarez], you too. You too, 'Canelo'. You guys said, 'Oh you can't beat someone, you can't beat a striker, you can't beat a legend like Anderson Silva.' I just did it so why can't I beat 'Canelo'? F*** ya'll!"
