Jake Paul is all set to face Anderson Silva at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona on October 29. According to reports, the fight has established itself as the second-highest grossing combat sports event in the history of the venue with five days to go before fight night.

The event's total ticket revenue trails just behind UFC 263 which was headlined by a rematch between Israel Adesanya and Marvin Vettori last year. Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva has already surpassed the pay-per-view and UFC on FOX 29, featuring Dustin Poirier vs. Justin Gaethje. TSN's Aaron Bronsteter reported:

"Per a release, Jake Paul vs. Silva is currently the 2nd highest grossing combat sports event in the history of Desert Diamond Arena, trailing only UFC 263 (17,208 attendance, $4.2 mil.), ranking ahead of UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs. Gaethje (11,382 attendance, $1.08 mil.)"

Israel Adesanya emphatically outpointed Marvin Vettori in front of a sellout crowd at the Desert Diamond Arena at UFC 263 in June last year. Meanwhile, Dustin Poirier earned a fourth-round TKO win over Justin Gaethje in their UFC Fight Night headliner clash back in 2018.

Jake Paul is eyeing a move up to heavyweight after fighting Anderson Silva

Many consider Jake Paul's upcoming fight against Anderson Silva to be the final test for 'The Problem Child' to be recognized as a legitimate boxer. While Paul's 5-0 resume includes names like Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley, the YouTuber star has shied away from high-caliber conventional pugilists till now.

Meanwhile, the resurgent Silva has scored a split decision win over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and knocked out Tito Ortiz since his retirement from MMA. However, Paul is already eyeing a move up to heavyweight, less than a week removed from his clash against 'The Spider'.

Having already meddled with Tommy Fury, 'The Problem Child' has now called out his older brother Tyson. The 25-year-old wrote on Twitter:

"In 6 days I fight Anderson Silva in #paulsilva but, after that, fat Jake is moving up to the heavyweight division to fight my brotha from anotha mother @Tyson_Fury. The heavyweight division been real quiet since this announcement"
