Joshua Pacio accuses Jarred Brooks of being arrogant

'The Monkey God' earned his shot at the title by going undefeated in ONE Championship and is now on an impressive six-fight win streak. For his efforts, he will get a shot at the division’s king Joshua Pacio.

'The Passion' believes that Brooks is a skilled opponent, however, his arrogance will be the fall of him. Speaking with ONE Championship, Pacio explained:

“Jarred Brooks, you’ve never fought somebody like me. This is my division. I’m not even at my peak, and I’m the best in the world. That’s a scary thing for Jarred Brooks. You will lose because of your arrogance.”

Brooks said on Instagram that he will come into this world championship bout a much stronger fighter than he was before. He claimed:

"The real fight preparation comes into play these last two months I will be working like a madman to achieve beyond what I thought was reachable! Work is being done and I will be ready."
