Joe Rogan was recently all praise for MMA legend Bruce Lee.

In an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, host Joe Rogan and fellow comedian Brian Redban discussed Bruce Lee's contribution to the sport of MMA. Rogan opined that Lee's well-known film, Enter the Dragon, was the first instance of a mixed martial arts fight being witnessed by the public.

The JRE podcast host also credited Lee for bringing the entire MMA community together even before the UFC did, saying:

"First time, we ever see a tap, it's here in Enter The Dragon. And they bow afterwards. This is literally like an example for everybody to see of the first mixed martial arts fight and it was Bruce Lee...Bruce Lee, he opened that door to everybody because back then, especially before the UFC, martial arts was very like everybody stayed in their tribe."

He further said:

"The Judo guys thought Judo was the best. The kickboxer guys thought kickboxing was the best. Like everybody had their own mindset on what style was the best. Bruce Lee started it all off bro."

Joe Rogan recalls his first hunting experience

In another episode of his popular podcast show The Joe Rogan Experience, host Joe Rogan discussed hunting and the beauty of nature along with guest Steven Rinella.

Revealing his thoughts on the practise of hunting, Rogan said:

“That world is so fascinating, and you know, for many people, you get a little taste of it from documentaries, maybe. A little internet clip here or there, or you see animals at the zoo. You have very little exposure to what it’s like to be around them in real life..."

At one point during their discussion, the UFC color commentator also recalled his first hunting experience during a trip to Montana with Rinella:

“I remember when you and I went on that first trip to Montana. The moment where I shot that buck, which was the first animal I’ve ever killed, and that moment where I locked eyes on it, and we’re in the wild, and you see this thing, and it was totally an unusual experience. I remember thinking this is like almost bizarrely almost psychedelic because this world is so different.”
