Jonathan Haggerty has already realized incredible success in his career and at 27 years old, he still has a long way to go.
The Londoner is right in saying that when he arrived at ONE Championship, he was facing an uphill battle.
Haggerty's most impressive accomplishment, forgetting the world championship wins, is that he's able to compete with the best in the world despite having far less experience than his rivals.
When he first signed to ONE, he was an exciting and emerging talent that had bags of potential but unlike the Thai fighters that grew up competing, he didn't have the huge amounts of fights to back it up.
This hasn't stopped him from facing off with the best in the world, challenging himself, and continuing to get better with each outing.
'The General' spoke about this during a recent appearance on the Winners Talking Podcast:
"I mean going in there, I've always wanted to fight the best, you know? I've had the least fights, if you look on the record, I've had about 25 fights, and all my opponents had about 300 fights."

Jonathan Haggerty is only going to get better with time
Jonathan Haggerty may not have hundreds of fights but his time in ONE Championship has made it so that the experience he has accumulated has all been valuable because it's at the highest level.
Unlike some of the men he is competing against, the Brit is still learning on the job to some extent, and that showed at ONE 168: Denver.
The world champion suffered another tough loss but he has proven time and time again that he always bounces back and gets better after facing setbacks.
Haggerty is far from done and these experiences only make him stronger as a result.
