Karate Combat frontrunner Adam Kovacs recently suggested the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve judging in mixed martial arts and other combat sports like boxing and karate.

Over the past couple of months, MMA judging has been a hot topic of discussion among fans of the sport, and some very controversial judges like Douglas Crosby have come under heavy fire for their baffling methods of scoring fights.

A pair of very recent examples of this would be the Paddy Pimblett vs. Jared Gordon bout at UFC 282, where the majority consensus had Gordon outscoring Pimblett. However, the judges surprisingly scored the match in favor of the Liverpudlian. In the headliner of the same event, the title fight between Magomed Ankalaev vs. Jan Blachowicz was shockingly scored in a split draw, leaving the title vacant.

However, Kovacs seems to have come up with an idea for an unconventional method to hopefully improve judging in MMA and combat sports. In a tweet, the 41-year-old wrote:

"I think mma/boxing/karate judging should be done by AI."

Other examples of shady decisions by the judges in 2022 would include Daniel Rodriguez vs. Li Jingliang at UFC 279, where many considered the Chinese native to be victorious, and Petr Yan vs. Sean O'Malley at UFC 280, where many viewers alleged that Yan was robbed of a win.

Karate Combat president claims he would turn down an Andrew Tate vs. Jake Paul fight

Karate Combat President Adam Kovacs has given his opinion on whether he would book an Andrew Tate vs. Jake Paul super fight in the pit.

Paul and Tate could easily be considered two of the most polarizing personalities on social media and in combat sports today. Andrew Tate is a former kickboxer who gained notoriety for his extremely controversial takes on many sensitive issues. Jake Paul has extraordinarily become one of the most-viewed boxers on the globe, considering his roots as a Disney child star.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda, Kovacs surprisingly declared that Karate Combat would not host a fight between the two internet personalities.

"I mean if they came to me, both of them, I would turn it down. But just because of the attention, because you know how cool that would be?..."

The Karate Combat supremo further clarified:

"First I would have to turn it down for some media attention and then I would do it because it makes all the sense for us and if I turn that down, just to answer your original question, then I would just not understand what fight promotion is all about."
