It comes as no surprise that the two-time PFL women's lightweight champion, who is also currently undefeated in her MMA career, would choose to idolize those names.

Khabib Nurmagomedov (29-0) and Georges St-Pierre (28-2) are both widely regarded as two of the greatest fighters in the history of the sport. The two Hall of Famers broke several records during their time active in the UFC octagon.

'The Eagle' retired as lightweight champion in 2020 with an unblemished record. His bout against Conor McGregor at UFC 229 remains the biggest pay-per-view draw in the history of the UFC. Meanwhile, 'GSP' was the fourth fighter in UFC history to hold two titles (middleweight and welterweight) simultaneously during his career and had one of the longest title reigns in the promotion.

Frankie Edgar recently announced his retirement after his loss at UFC 281. The former UFC lightweight champion holds the record for having the longest total fight time in promotional history (7 hours, 57 minutes and 10 seconds).

Harrison will face Larissa Pacheco for the third time in their careers at the 2022 PFL Championships on November 25. This will conclude Harrison’s final season with the PFL with two fights left on her contract.

Khabib Nurmagomedov named Georges St-Pierre among the fighters he wished he could face during his career

Khabib Nurmagomedov named Georges St-Pierre, Tony Ferguson and Anthony Pettis as the three opponents he wished he could've faced.

Nurmagomedov recently appeared in an interview for Class A Events at Meridian Hall in Toronto. When questioned on which fighters he would have loved to face, 'The Eagle' named Georges St-Pierre as one of them.

While acknowledging the Canadian as his role model in MMA, 'The Eagle' said:

"Okay 'GSP', if you guys want to but I respect this guy a lot, you know. It's like I grew up with his fights, you know? When he became UFC champion in 2007, I was beginning my professional career. I was an amateur fighter and I watched a lot of his fights with my father. 'GSP' was like a role model in MMA for me." [h/t MMA Junkie]
