Khamzat Chimaev reportedly set to corner Chechen dictator Ramzan Kadyrov's son in upcoming MMA Debut

Khamzat Chimaev's association with Ramzan Kadyrov, head of the Chechen Republic is well-documented. The relationship also extends to Kadyrov's children whom Chimaev mentors in mixed martial arts.

16-year-old Ali Kadyrov, son to Ramzan Kadyrov, is set to make his professional MMA debut in Absolute Championship Akhmat at the upcoming ACA 150 event against Islam Akbarov. Ali will have the distinction of having a UFC fighter in Chimaev in his corner to cheer him on and guide him through the fight.

"One reason to tune in for tomorrow's ACA 150 event. 16-years old Ali Kadyrov, Ramzan Kadyrov's son, will make his MMA debut against Islam Akbarov, with Khamzat Chimaev in his corner."

Khamzat Chimaev took to Instagram to confirm the news and expressed support for "his younger brother" in his debut bout. He said in Russian:

"Assalamu alaikum dear friends! On December 23, at ACA 150 his first professional fight will be held by the GRANDSON of the First President of the Czech Republic, Hero of Russia Akhmat-Hadji Kadyrov (Dala g1azot cowobala Doyla Tsunnan! ) my dear younger BROTHER Ali Kadyrov. Brother, I know how hard you've been training and how great shape you're in. In sha Allah only victory! Gave it to Boyla Khan is YOURS!" [translation via Instagram]

Khamzat Chimaev has trained Ramzan Kadyrov's sons Ali and Dustum

Ali Kadyrov has been training alongside Khamzat Chimaev for his mixed martial arts debut since months prior. He was joined by his brother Dustum Kadyrov as the two worked out with the UFC welterweight on a trip to the United Arab Emirates.

The Russian-born Swede fighter also introduced other teammates from his Swedish gym, Allstars Training Center to the two Kadyrov brothers.

In a recent post, 'Borz' was seen on the recieving end of some hard blows from Dustum Kadyrov as the youngster sparred with the welterweight contender.

'Borz' came under heavy criticism from fans for putting himself in harm's way and has also been previously called out on his relationship with the Chechen Republic's head of state. Ramzan Kadyrov features heavily on Chimaev's Instagram account and shares a fond relationship with the UFC fighter.
