YouTuber-turned-boxer KSI hilariously had to correct fans of PRIME after a "fake" advertisement for the sports drink went viral on social media.

The UFC announced earlier this week that they had partnered with KSI and Logan Paul to make PRIME the official sports drink of the organization.

"The new official Sports Drink of @UFC — we’re proud to announce PRIME will be fueling the world’s premiere mixed martial arts organization. 👊🏼 #DrinkPRIME"

A few days later, KSI took to Twitter to debunk an X-rated ad that's been doing the rounds on the internet. In the fake advert for the sports drink, both 'The Nightmare' and 'The Maverick' appear, but it places the British YouTuber in a compromising position.

A fan who shared the ad on social media wrote:

"who directed the ad campaigns for prime bro"

The 29-year-old Brit hilariously responded to the fan and confirmed that the ad was fake:

"Tize bro, you know this is fake right?"

MMA fans can expect to see the first iteration of PRIME branding at UFC 284 next weekend. As part of the deal, PRIME advertising will be seen in both the red and blue corners of the octagon as well as on the stools where fighters sit between rounds.

Logan Paul names his and KSI's PRIME deal with the UFC as one of the biggest accomplishments of his life

In a little over a year, PRIME has grown to a level that neither Logan Paul nor his British business partner could have ever predicted.

Since the sports drink's inception, the pair have partnered with KSI's boyhood club Arsenal, who currently sit at the top of the Premier League. Besides the recent deal with the UFC, PRIME is also a sponsor of MBM Motorsports, which competes in NASCAR.

On the latest episode of Logan Paul's IMPAULSIVE podcast, he discussed the brand's meteoric rise. According to Paul, he ranks the latest deal with the UFC as one of the biggest achievements of his life so far:

"I'm proud to announce, PRIME is the official sports drink of the UFC... This is the coolest thing of my life, I'm not kidding, probably top three accomplishments I've ever done. PRIME, a drink KSI and I created is now the official sports drink of one of the biggest global fight organizations... And the fact that we are now fueling and partner with them is mind-blowing to me."
