Logan Paul has revealed that he's planning on stepping back into the boxing ring later this year and it could be against Nate Diaz.

Paul, who is currently signed to the WWE, last stepped into the squared circle in 2021, when he faced Floyd Mayweather Jr. in an unscored bout. Prior to that, the only professional fight on Paul's record was a loss to KSI in 2019.

'Maverick' recently sat down with BT Sport and Ariel Helwani to discuss his WWE career as well as his future plans for this year. Logan Paul then dropped the bombshell that he and his team have been close to agreeing on a boxing bout against Nate Diaz, but so far nothing has been confirmed.

The 27-year-old even suggested that he believes the Stockton-born fighter is "running" away from him. He said:

"I think this guy might be running from me...We have the sweetest deal for him. He knows the type of numbers that I'd bring in and I'm a 0-1 YouTuber, seems like an easy fight no?...It's Nate Diaz. Yeah, It's Nate Diaz. I thought I had something locked in, then he called and said the fight is off."

He added:

"Sure [The fight can happen]. As far as I know, it's not dead. We have to offer more f***ing money, we have to bait this guy...Give me the real dogs and Nate Diaz is a dog."

Tommy Fury open to facing Logan Paul in WWE

Tommy Fury handed Jake Paul his first professional loss as a boxer when the pair went head-to-head on February 26.

The pair went the distance in their bout labeled 'The Truth', which saw 'TNT' given the nod via split decision. Two of the judges scored the bout 76-73 in favor of Fury, with the third judge giving the edge to Paul 75-74.

Following the Manchester-born fighter's victory, Logan Paul has gone on record to state that he'd like to return to the boxing ring in an attempt to avenge his brother's loss. Whilst 'TNT' claimed he's open to the idea, he wouldn't mind testing the waters in WWE to defeat 'Maverick'.

During an interview with Soccer AM, Tommy Fury revealed that all WWE would have to do is pick up the phone and call him:

"100%. All they need to do is ring the phone and I'll be there the very next day. I mean I watched wrestling as a kid growing up... I love wrestling. I watched all my life growing up as many young kids do. So, working with WWE, obviously, Tyson has done some bits with them yeah, it would be a dream come true [To fight Logan Paul in the WWE].
