Max Holloway has praised the USA Basketball documentary, The Redeem Team, as a "must watch" for all sports fans. The documentary was released on Netflix in 2022 and has been a massive success, with a 96% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.

The documentary centers around USA Basketball's incredible comeback at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing following a poor performance at the 2004 Summer Olympics. After being defeated three times in Athens in 2004, a team led by Kobe Byrant and LeBron James rose from the ashes to claim gold in Beijing.
Narrated by the players, the documentary takes fans behind the scenes to look at the crucial sacrifices made by every member of Team USA heading into 2008.
Alexander Volkanovski believes Max Holloway beats most UFC featherweights
Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway were involved in one of the most epic rivalries in UFC featherweight history between 2019 and 2022. The pair fought three times, with 'The Great' coming away victorious on all three occasions. However, the level of skill displayed by both fighters and the close nature of the first two bouts made their rivalry an instant classic.
Volkanovski proved to be too much for 'Blessed' in their third fight at UFC 276, as 'The Great' pitched a shut-out victory and won via unanimous decision. Despite Volkanovski holding the advantage over his toughest adversary, the featherweight champion admitted that Max Holloway would still beat other top contenders at 145 lbs. However, 'The Great' believes that the reason their third fight wasn't as close as the first two was due to the fact that he had gotten much better and that it had nothing to do with Holloway slowing down or any other reason.
During a recent interview with The AllStar, Volkanovski said this:
"I still think [Max Holloway] was a great champ, he's a great fighter and I still think he beats most of the top guys [in the division] anyway. We've got a very strong division, a lot of guys coming up... I still think Max, it wasn't that Max went down hill, I just literally had him figured out and went to another level. Especially my confidence, that's what it was more about."

Since losing to Conor McGregor in 2013, the only man to defeat Max Holloway at featherweight has been Alexander Volkanovski. This clearly showcases the Hawaiian's dominance.
Holloway and surging contender Arnold Allen were all but officially scheduled to face off at UFC 286 in London later this year, however, Allen was forced to decline the fight due to a rib popping out during training. It is unclear whether the UFC will rebook that matchup or not.
