Former UFC champion and Hall-of-Famer Michael Bisping has made bold claims regarding a potential fight between Francis Ngannou and Anthony Joshua.

In a recent YouTube video, Bisping claimed that although Ngannou would likely be the underdog in a potential superfight against 'AJ', there is a possibility of the Cameroonian knocking out the former boxing champion:

"Joshua, potentially, will be there to get caught off a gigantic shot of Francis Ngannou and could you imagine it? Francis Ngannou knocks out Anthony Joshua, that is not that unlikely. He would be the underdog. Of course, he would. Anthony Joshua would be a massive favorite in that fight. But that is not beyond the realms of possibility."

During his time in the UFC, Ngannou was known for his vicious knockout power. With his brute strength, 'The Predator' knocked out various prominent fighters like Alistair Overeem, Andrei Arlovski, Cain Velasquez, Jairzinho Rozenstruik, Curtis Blaydes and Stipe Miocic.

Considering his UFC record, there is a good chance that if a fight between Ngannou and Joshua becomes a reality and Ngannou lands a clean shot, the Cameroonian could possibly emerge victorious via knockout.

Eddie Hearns speaks about the possibility of Francis Ngannou vs. Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua's boxing manager Eddie Hearn is interested in a possible superfight between his client and former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou.

Hearn recently made an appearance on Ariel Helwani's The MMA Hour. During the interaction, the boxing promoter spoke about his meeting with Ngannnou and showered praise on 'The Predator'.

Hearn then went on to claim that Joshua vs. Ngannou is one of the biggest fights that could be made in the sport at the moment:

"The Anthony Joshua fight is just probably one of the biggest fights that could be made across any kind of sport... The value really is the unknown. What happens when two titans from the world of fight sports collide?... It’s the unknown of - How good is Ngannou? We know he punches extremely hard. If he lands one on Joshua, is it the greatest upset of all time? Or will AJ completely steamroll him, and you’ll see Ngannou get knocked out? That’s the attraction of that fight, the unknown."
