During a recent Q&A session on his YouTube channel, Michael Bisping named Israel Adesanya amongst several other MMA competitors in their prime who could beat Jake Paul.

Paul's outspoken bravado and unbridled self-confidence have put the combat world on notice. In the squared circle, 'The Problem Child' has fought and defeated MMA stars Tyron Woodley, Ben Askren and Anderson Silva.

Bisping listed a number of MMA superstars who are capable of defeating Paul, including striking specialist Israel Adesanya. 'The Count' included himself on the list:

"I think a lot of people in MMA would beat Jake Paul. A lot of people who are in their prime would beat Jake Paul. Anthony Smith would beat him, Glover Teixeira would beat him, Israel Adesanya would beat him. I'd f**king beat him with great ease."

Bisping pointed out a trend that Jake Paul has embarked on, which has seen him fight MMA stars who are beyond their prime in the boxing ring:

"He's [Paul] got to slow his roll. He's not fighting boxers. He hasn't fought a boxer once. He talks about becoming a world champion in boxing, but he doesn't fight any boxers.... So, shut the f**k about becoming a pound-for-pound great or becoming a world champion in boxing."

What did Jake Paul say about fighting Israel Adesanya?

Israel Adesanya is renowned for his elusive defense and elite striking. Some of the performances that he has displayed inside the octagon have been described as genuine works of art.

Throughout his boxing career, Jake Paul has made a point of calling out MMA fighters, landing knockout victories over MMA veterans Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley.

'The Problem Child' could also face former UFC star Nate Diaz next after his unanimous decision victory over Anderson Silva in October.

However, Paul has stated in a past episode of the TimboSugarShow that Israel Adesanya is the only guy in the UFC he has no interest in competing against:

“Honestly bro, he’s [Adesanya] like probably the only fighter in the UFC that I wouldn’t fight. He’s tall as f**k and his striking… I think he’s probably, arguably, one of the best strikers [or] top three ever in the history of the sport. But there are a lot of UFC fighters and he’s literally really the only one that I wouldn’t [want to fight]."
