Michael Bisping responds to UFC star suggesting he should quit training MMA with "two artificial knees and one artificial eye"

Michael Bisping and Marlon 'Chito' Vera have been training partners for many years under the tutelege of Jason Parillo. Despite being retired, Bisping still trains with Vera at the RVCA Training Center in Costa Mesa, California, where Parillo is the head coach.

'Chito' recently appeared on Bisping's podcast, Believe You Me, during which the bantamweight contender gave 'The Count' a piece of advice regarding training.

Anthony Smith, the co-host of the podcast, discussed potentially going to the RVCA Training Center to train with former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold. This caused Bisping to retort with the following:

"What? Am I f***ing invisible 'Chito?' I can't do anything?!"

To which Vera replied:

"Bisping, you have two artificial knees, one artificial eye. You be the coach, and tell us what to do."

Michael Bisping then chose to remind 'Chito' what the outcome of their sparring sessions usually is:

"Bro, number one, I whip your a** every time I'm down there bro. So don't give me this f***ing coaching nonsense. Don't let me out to pasture just yet."

The retina in Michael Bisping's right eye was detached during his fight with Vitor Belfort at UFC on FX 7 in 2013. But 'The Count' did not let the visual impairment discourage him from chasing his dreams, eventually winning the UFC middleweight title by beating Luke Rockhold at UFC 199.

Michael Bisping wants Chimaev vs. Covington as co-main to Usman vs. Edwards 3

Kamaru Usman and Leon Edwards appear set to face off for the third time next year, with a potential fight at UFC 286 in London being discussed.

Michael Bisping is eager to see Khamzat Chimaev vs. Colby Covington feature as the co-main event on the same card as the UFC welterweight title fight, for several reasons.

'Chaos' is ranked No.2 in the UFC welterweight rankings, while 'Borz' is ranked No.3. With that said, the matchup between the pair seemingly makes perfect sense.

'The Count' recently discussed who Chimaev's next opponent could be on his YouTube channel, saying:

"Let's assume that Leon and Kamaru are fighting, Khamzat vs. Colby as the co-main event makes all the sense in the world. Because if someone gets injured in the main event, then somebody can step up there. Khamzat will deserve it, and Colby Covington is one of the top guys."
