The first-ever Amazing Muay Thai Festival in Hua Hin, Thailand, took place this week from Feb. 3rd to Feb. 6th. Many ONE Championship athletes, including CEO and Chairman Chatri Sityodtong, shared in the festivities.

This year, the Muay Thai Festival fulfilled their promise of setting the Guinness World Record of the world’s largest “Wai Kru” ceremony. “Wai Kru” is a traditional dance Muay Thai fighters do to show respect to their teachers before a fight.

On February 6th, CEO Chatri Sityodtong took part in the ceremony by presenting the Thai government with a glass frame that contained a pair of 4-ounce gloves. It also featured a simple golden plate placed in between that said “ONE.”
