Nong-O Gaiyanghadao, the reigning ONE bantamweight Muay Thai king, will defend his illustrious world title against Alaverdi Ramazanov at ONE Lumpinee 1. This is a slight shuffle to the schedule in January 2023.

The fight was originally slated for ONE on Prime Video 6 on January 13, but has been pushed back to headline ONE Lumpinee 1, which is booked for January 20.

ONE Championship working with the historic Lumpinee Stadium was announced earlier this year. ONE and Lumpinee will produce 52 fight events over the year. They will be kicking off this agreement with a momentous headlining bout between Nong-O and the dangerous Ramazanov.

Nong-O made his name in Muay Thai at the historic Lumpinee Stadium. During his professional fighting career, the bantamweight Muay Thai king was able to win world championship titles in four different weight classes during his time in Lumpinee.

Currently, Nong-O is on a nine-fight win streak, with his most recent four being won by KO/TKO. He will be looking to extend his destructive streak ONE Lumpinee 1 on January 20.

The Thai athlete will face off against former ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion Alaverdi Ramazanov.

ONE Championship will be hosting ONE on Prime Video 6 in Bangkok, Thailand on January 13. The new main event is a long-awaited showdown between ONE featherweight kickboxing king Superbon Singha Mawynn and world Grand Prix champion Chingiz Allazov.

One week later, ONE Lumpinee 1 will commence on January 20, headlined by Nong-O against Ramazanov. ONE Championship is working tirelessly for the enrichment of Muay Thai in Thailand and worldwide.

The agreement between ONE and Lumpinee Stadium is a momentous one. Chairman and CEO of ONE Championship, Chatri Sityodtong, announced on Facebook earlier this year:

"1) ONE will invest $100 million into the global Muay Thai industry over the coming years. 2) Road To ONE is the most powerful network of the biggest Muay Thai promoters in the world ... 3) In partnership with The Royal Thai Army, ONE will hold a minimum of 52 events at the legendary Lumpinee Stadium ... 4) A major Thai broadcaster will air all ONE events live, starting in January 2023 ... 5) ONE Lumpinee will pay the highest fight purses in Thailand to elevate the entire ecosystem."
