The bantamweight Muay Thai fight between Suablack Tor Pran49 and Stefan Korodi stole the show this weekend at ONE Fight Night 18.

The two met in the co-main event of ONE Fight Night 18: Gasanov vs. Oh on Prime Video, which took place live from the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand last Saturday, January 13.

In the end, it was the Thai star Suablack who took home a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards.

Suablack and Korodi went to war and displayed their best offense throughout the match, with the former’s powerful elbows and the latter’s atomic kicks.

Korodi started the match with forward pressure, but Suablack retaliated with kicks to the head and punches to the body.

The 27-year-old Thai inflicted the most damage in the opening round through elbow strikes in the clinch and by catching one of Korodi’s leg kicks and pulling him for a powerful left elbow strike. That elbow caused bleeding on Korodi’s face.

When the second round began, everyone in the stadium expected that the hometown bet would finish off the match as he carried the momentum in the first three minutes. However, Korodi landed a perfect right straight that knocked down Suablack and silenced the whole arena.

Miraculously, Suablack fought back and delivered a left elbow counter to sit Korodi down and score a knockdown of his own. 20 seconds later, the Tor Pran49-affiliated athlete scored another knockdown with a right elbow, nearly finishing the fight.

Because of his inherent toughness, Korodi simply refused to give up. The 29-year-old Irishman survived to see the final round of the bout.

In the final round, Suablack doubled down on his clinch attack to deliver more damage to Korodi’s face and body via punches and elbows. Despite these efforts, Korodi once again survived until the final bell rang, and eventually, Suablack picked up his fifth victory in ONE Championship.
