Conor McGregor's success in the octagon has afforded him the ability to live a life of luxury. 'The Notorious' was recently pictured en route to Las Vegas in a private jet alongside his wife and children.

McGregor will be coaching the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter alongside Michael Chandler. The reality TV show is set to take place in Sin City.

The Irishman posted a series of family photos of the journey on Instagram, stating that he was on his way to "coach a few kids" to a UFC contract:

"On my way to Vegas to coach a few kids to a @ufc contract. A blessing. A privilege. An honor. My pleasure. Welcome to “ufc with the Mac"

Conor McGregor has been out of action since breaking his leg against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021.

'The Notorious' was removed from the USADA testing pool during his rehabilitation phase and has not been tested since his fight against Poirier. He will need to re-enter the testing pool for at least six months prior to competing against Michael Chandler, meaning their fight will most likely be scheduled for September or October.

McGregor has gained an immense amount of muscle since his last fight, leading many to believe he would return at 170 pounds. However, UFC president Dana White stated on The Pat McAfee Show that the bout will be contested at lightweight (155 pounds).

Conor McGregor's coach believes Michael Chandler fight could be similar to Chad Mendes

John Kavanagh, the longtime coach of Conor McGregor and head coach of SBG Ireland, was recently interviewed by Sean Sheehan on The Sheehan Show.

Kavanagh previewed McGregor's upcoming bout with Michael Chandler and compared it to a previous bout of the Irishman's against Chad Mendes. The fight took place at UFC 189 in 2015 and was for the interim featherweight title. 'The Notorious' won via TKO in round two.

Both Chandler and Mendes are explosive athletes with NCAA division 1 wrestling backgrounds. Kavanagh believes Conor McGregor has found enormous success stylistically against fighters of their composition.

He said:

"I think it could resemble a little bit the Mendes fight, Mendes was that style - blocky guy, big punches, big double legs. I think that’s how it could go. Conor has a good record against those kind of orthodox, stocky wrestlers with big overhand rights and big double legs. It’s an exciting one to prepare for. Chandler, he’s an excellent fighter, he’s got a great resume."
