Alex Pereira notched his third UFC light heavyweight title defense courtesy of a fourth-round TKO of Khalil Rountree Jr. in the headlining match of UFC 307 on Oct. 5, 2024. Despite putting on an incredible performance, Pereira hasn't moved up in the men's pound-for-pound rankings.

The co-headlining match saw Julianna Pena defeat Raquel Pennington via split decision to become a two-time UFC women's bantamweight champion. As reported by John Morgan, Pena has moved up to the No. 4 spot in the women's pound-for-pound rankings.

Kayla Harrison bested Ketlen Vieira via unanimous decision, likely setting up a title shot against Pena. Harrison moved up one spot to No. 2 at bantamweight and up two spots to No. 9 in the women's pound-for-pound ranks.

Moreover, the women's bantamweight ranks currently have ex-champ Raquel Pennington at No. 1. Ketlen Vieira dropped a spot to No. 3, and Mayra Bueno Silva moved up a spot and is now tied with Irene Aldana at No. 6.

The light heavyweight rankings remain unchanged. Khalil Rountree Jr. retained his No. 8 position and reigning 205-pound champion Alex Pereira retained his No. 2 spot in the men's pound-for-pound rankings.

As listed on the UFC's official website, UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev stayed firm in his position as the No. 1-ranked men's pound-for-pound fighter, and UFC women's flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko retained her position as the No. 1-ranked women's pound-for-pound fighter.
