Sean O'Malley is one of the biggest stars in the UFC. 'Sugar' has fought on UFC pay-per-view cards in his last nine fights. This isn't common for someone who has only broken into the top 10 of his division this year.
The star power that Sean O'Malley possesses is undeniable, so one would assume that he has an excellent manager. 'Sugar,' however, has managed his own career for many years, and doesn't appear to be eager to change that.
O'Malley recently spoke to Marc Raimondi of ESPN MMA and explained why he has no need for a manager. The no.1 ranked UFC bantamweight said:
"No one cares about your career more than yourself. You have these managers that have a hundred other guys on the roster, guys in your weight class. Are they really looking out for your best interest, or are they looking out for theirs? I enjoy doing it all by myself."

Sean O'Malley predicts he will fight the winner of Aljamain Sterling vs. Henry Cejudo
Sean O'Malley recently met up with UFC president Dana White and senior vice president Sean Shelby to discuss his future.
According to O'Malley, his next fight will most likely be for UFC gold. 'Sugar,' however, revealed that the UFC is interested in a fight between reigning champion Aljamain Sterling and Henry Cejudo first.
On episode #213 of the TimboSugarShow, 'Sugar' explained that while nothing has been set in stone, he feels that UFC wants Sterling vs. Cejudo next.:
"I think they're kind of wanting to make Henry [Cejudo] vs. Aljo early next year. I'd fight the winner later. That's kind of what I'm getting, but nothing official,"

O'Malley has been touted as a future UFC champion and has often drawn comparisons to arguably the promotion's biggest star, Conor McGregor. He will hope to emulate the success of the Irishman both inside and outside the octagon.
