Sean Strickland takes credit for Edmen Shahbazyan's UFC 282 win over Dalcha Lungiambula

Sean Strickland recently claimed to be the reason behind his teammate Edmen Shahbazyan's victory over Dalcha Lungiambula at UFC 282.

Not one to exercise restraint, 'Tarzan' managed to paint quite a vivid picture with his words while taking credit for Shahbazyan's second-round knockout win.

In a recent interview with The Schmo, Strickland was asked for his thoughts about his teammate at Xtreme Couture getting the finish after being on a three-fight losing streak.

Strickland said:

"Edmen came to me this... Soft, virgin little p***y, you guys. And I took my big old metaphorical d**k and I f****d him everyday bloody. And now after four months, Edmen's doing the f*****g. So I would like to take credit for that win. That was all me. That was f*****g all me. You're welcome Edmen."

Meanwhile, Sean Strickland is set to face Jared Cannonier at UFC Vegas 66 on December 17 at the UFC Apex facility.

Strickland is coming off a loss against now-reigning middleweight champion Alex Pereira at UFC 276, losing via first-round knockout. Cannonier last faced Israel Adesanya on the same card, losing to the Nigerian-born Kiwi via unanimous decision.

Sean Strickland weighs in on Magomed Ankalaev vs. Jan Blachowicz draw, claims his teammate was "robbed"

Sean Strickland has come out in support of his Xtreme Couture teammate and training partner Magomed Ankalaev. He called the Russian "one of the best fighters" he's ever trained with.

After Jiri Prochazka pulled out of his title defense against Glover Teixeira at UFC 282 due to a shoulder injury, the UFC made Jan Blachowicz vs. Magomed Ankalaev the headliner with the vacant title on the line. After five rounds, the bout was declared a draw.

In the same interview, Sean Strickland was asked to share his thoughts on the controversial result. 'Tarzan' replied:

"Robbed. Ankalaev is one of the best fighters I've ever trained with. Ankalaev in the gym, hands down one of the best. I think he got f*****g robbed. Just, it is what it is. F*****g judges man, sometimes they're asleep."

Soon after the UFC 282 headliner, it was confirmed that Jamahal Hill and Glover Teixeira will go head-to-head for the still-vacant light heavyweight title in January. When asked for his comments on this, Strickland said:

"That's such bulls**t. Again, we should have them fucking rematch and they should have the title. Ankalaev deserves it. He's the best fighter."
