Cris Cyborg has come out to dispute the claims of UFC bantamweight and featherweight champion Amanda Nunes being the 'GOAT' of women's MMA.
Cyborg recently sat down for a chat with Henry Cejudo, during which she touched upon various topics, including potential superfights in the future and her thoughts on Kayla Harrison.
At one point, the 37-year-old spoke about former opponent Nunes and questioned the 'GOAT' status assigned to her by many in the MMA community.
"You guys call Amanda GOAT, but man, she has more losses than me, she don't stay 14 years undefeated. Okay, I lost the fight [against] her, yeah, but it happens. You know, sometimes, it's not your day. Sometimes, it happens. But the history, how long, it's not just about one fight."

Cyborg has an overall professional record of 26-2-1. At one point in her career, Cyborg was undefeated for 14 years (November 2005 to December 2018). During her time as a professional fighter, the 37-year-old has beaten the likes of Gina Carano, Holly Holm, Yana Kunitskaya and Felicia Spencer.
Cris Cyborg lost to Amanda Nunes in the UFC
Cris Cyborg faced off against Amanda Nunes in a highly anticipated superfight at UFC 232. Although short-lived, the contest was a highly thrilling affair that ended with a spectacular knockout victory for 'The Lioness'.
The fight marked Cyborg's first and only loss in the UFC. After that contest, she competed only once more in the octagon.
At UFC 240, the Brazilian went toe-to-toe with Felicia Spencer and defeated her via unanimous decision. Later, the 37-year-old parted ways with the multi-billion dollar promotion and went on to compete in Bellator MMA.
She won the featherweight title in her debut fight in that promotion and has successfully defended it four times since.
Ever since the culmination of their first fight, fans have wanted to see Cyborg and Nunes run it back. In her interview with Henry Cejudo, the former UFC featherweight champion discussed the possibility of a rematch with 'The Lioness'.
"If Amanda Nunes gets out of the UFC, this rematch can happen. If she just continues in the UFC, it's hard to happen. The UFC don't like to pay the fighters."
