Perez has had quite the eventful fight week heading into her fifth octagon appearance against Darya Zheleznyakova. She weighed 136.5 pounds, and missed the weight by 0.5 pounds. The footage went viral within the MMA community, as she looked close to feinting on the scale.
Perez also caught the fans' attention for another reason that didn't involve her fighting skills. The 29-year-old met up with Merab Dvalishvili, who recently defeated Sean O'Malley for the UFC bantamweight title. A video was taken of Perez shaking her backside, while Dvalishvili playfully slapped her several times.

Ailin Perez extends winning streak at UFC Paris
Ailin Perez made her UFC debut in September 2022, suffering a second-round rear-naked choke against Stephanie Egger in a featherweight contest. Since then, the Argentina native has only fought at bantamweight where she rattled off unanimous decision wins against Ashlee Evans-Smith, Lucie Pudilova, and Joselyne Edwards.
Earlier today, Perez fought on the UFC Paris preliminary portion against Darya Zheleznyakova (1-0 in the UFC). Perez was determined to secure her first finish in the octagon, which came in slightly less than four minutes, as she locked up an arm triangle to make her Russian opponent tap out.
Before UFC Paris, Perez was ranked fifteen in the women's bantamweight division. Therefore, she may find herself jumping a position or two, as she continues to exceed her original expectations in the promotions.
It should be noted that Perez's coach told Michael Bisping that her scary scene on the scales was staged. The 29-year-old allegedly wanted to gain an advantage against Darya Zheleznyakova by pretending to be frail.
