Many have spoken of Nong-O Gaiyanghadao’s immense power, but Anna ‘Supergirl’ Jaroonsak took it up a notch and broke every power scaling device used.
The Thai star said Nong-O’s playing in a different plane of existence now and she even compared the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion to a Super Saiyan from the massively popular Dragon Ball franchise.
Nong-O is set to defend his gold against Russian striker Alaverdi Ramazanov this Friday at ONE Friday Fights 1 at Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium.

The Thai legend has also been on an intense training camp working with ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion Petchtanong Petchfergus and pound-for-pound great Superbon Singha Mawynn.
‘Supergirl’ in an interview with ONE Championship said:
“I believe Nong-O will definitely win this fight. He trained with champions like Petchtanong and Superbon. He’s as strong as Super Saiyan now. He has greatly improved his movement and his game plan.”
She added:
“Nong-O is a well-rounded fighter who can kick and punch, and he is a veteran in this sport. I don't see what [will] make him lose this match. Alaverdi may have good footwork, but Nong-O is used to eating someone like him for breakfast.”
Nong-O is one of ONE Championship’s most dominant world champions, having defended the world title seven times. The 36-year-old is 9-0 in the circle and is coming off four straight knockout wins.
ONE Friday Fights 1 is the first installment of ONE Championship’s weekly shows at Lumpinee Stadium and will be broadcast live through the promotion’s digital platforms.
Supergirl to continue hosting Muay Thai seminars in the US
Anna ‘Supergirl’ Jaroonsak is not just busy in her ONE Championship career, but she’s also an active Muay Thai teacher.
The Thai star recently went on tour with her father in the United States to hold Muay Thai seminars across the country.
In an interview with ONE Championship, Supergirl said that she flew to the US after her bout in January 2022 against Ekaterina Vandaryeva. She’s then set to travel again after her recent match against Stamp Fairtex this past week:
“The seminar gave me a fun experience. I got to do seminars, teach, and meet different people. I felt good that I could show the true form of Muay Thai to the participants. Most of them know me from my body knee trademark weapon. Fortunately, my father and I can speak English. So, we can give them a clearer explanation about Muay Thai techniques, so they can better understand."
