Supergirl talks moving back to Jaroonsak Gym to train with her father

Anna 'Supergirl' Jaroonsak originally made waves in the Muay Thai world when she was training under her father's tutelage. The Thai athlete began training with him when she was merely three years old.

She earned over 40 Muay Thai victories and a PBA Thailand National Title under her father’s coaching. Last year, however, she changed facilities and spent some time training at the Marrok Force MMA Gym.

At ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video, Anna Jaroonsak will face 'Barbie' Ekaterina Vandaryeva in a rematch. This fight, set for Janaury 13, can be viewed on YouTube and watch.onefc.com after the main event.

For her second bout against Vandaryeva, the Thai striker thought it would be wise to train with her father once again. In an interview with ONE Championship, she explained:

"Last year I moved to train at Marrok Force MMA Gym. But now I came back to my father’s gym to prepare for this upcoming fight. My routine is practicing with my dad two times a day, morning and evening. And during free time, I usually watch anime or series."

She has also enlisted the help of the ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion Petchtanong Petchfergus to aide her in her rematch against Vandaryeva:

“Thanks to a combination of weight training techniques from Petchanong and Muay Thai techniques from my father, I feel awesome. This is the strongest version of me, ever.”

Anna 'Supergirl' Jaroonsak and 'Barbie' Ekaterina Vandaryeva fought last year in a closely fought Muay Thai battle.

Due to a controversial decision, the two have been booked against one another for a second match. But this time, 'Supergirl' wants to make a clear statement on who is the better fighter.

In an interview with ONE, Jaroonsak explained her intentions:

"I want the result to be crystal clear this time so there won’t be any room for arguments. It doesn’t matter if I win or lose, but it must be clear-cut. This time, I am so determined to put on the show. I’d like to show my full capacity.”

Fans will finally get to see the rematch between 'Supergirl' and Ekaterina Vandaryeva. This time, Jaroonsak wants to make a statement with her newfound confidence.
