ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 takes great pride in besting his good pal Rodtang Jitmuangnon in the 'Muay Thai Fight of the Century' back in 2023.
Still, 'The Kicking Machine' would have wanted a more decisive finish to put an end to the debate of who really deserves to win, arguably one of the best matches in the history of 'The Art of Eight Limbs'.
Superlek and Rodtang put their friendship aside and threw everything but the kitchen sink at each other at ONE Friday Fights 34.
The first round was neck-and-neck, with both Thai warriors having their moments.

However, Superlek turned the tide in his favor when he knocked down 'The Iron Man' with a ferocious elbow in round 2 to score a knockdown against one of the most notoriously durable fighters of all time.
Rodtang turned up the notch in round 3 and bloodied up Superlek with a nasty elbow of his own, but still fell short on the judges' scorecards via unanimous decision.
Relive the madness of Superlek vs Rodtang:
In a recent interview with Nick Atkin, Superlek said he's willing to run it back with Rodtang and hopes to secure a finish this time around.
"Yes, that could be one of the fights because the last time I didn’t make weight. I just want a clear-cut, clear win this time."
Stamp Fairtex wants to see Rodtang vs Superlek II
Even the promotion's first three-sport world champion, Stamp Fairtex, agrees that fight fans absolutely need a sequel to Superlek and Rodtang's exhilarating war for the ages.
"Maybe Rodtang and Superlek again," Stamp told the South China Morning Post in an earlier interview. "Because I think everyone wants and [would] love to watch them fight again."
The former ONE atomweight MMA queen is indeed a big fan of these two world-class strikers. Hopefully, Stamp gets her wish, and we all witness greatness unfold for a second time.
