Sean Strickland last entered the octagon in June when he defeated Paulo Costa via split decision at UFC 302. While he does not have a bout scheduled, he appears to be next in line to challenge Dricus du Plessis for the middleweight title. 'Tarzan', who has been known to voice his opinions on a wide variety of topics, recently took aim at Charlamagne tha God, who hosts the popular radio show The Breakfast Club.

The No.1-ranked middleweight took to X on Wednesday, stating:

"If I ever met a man and he introduced himself as Charlamagne Tha God, id just laugh and walk away thinking "you're an idiot" Is it just me or is it odd we live in a society where someone can get millions of people to refer to him as Tha God?"

"Talk about cult following"

@SpiritBuilt believes ego is valued more than substance:

"It’s wild, isn’t it? A dude calls himself "Tha God," and people roll with it. What happened to humility and respect? We’ve built a society that glorifies ego over substance."

@CaponeCollects noted that most people simply refer to the radio personality as Charlamagne:

"Its not that deep bro. Most people just call him Charlamagne anyway"

@CGTraderX compared Charlamagne tha God to Donald Trump while sharing a screenshot of an article labeling the former United States President as a 'King Messiah':

"I agree completely, however it seems Trump has accomplished the same thing… especially with Religious people."
