'Mini-T' Danial Williams shares his thoughts about Jo Nattawut and Tawanchai's rematch at ONE 167

Australian martial artist 'Mini-T' Danial Williams recently chimed in on Tawanchai PK Saenchai's ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title showdown against Jo Nattawut at ONE 167.

Tawanchai returns to his Muay Thai roots this year to extend his reign as the dominant divisional king when he meets Nattawut on June 7 at Impact Arena in Bangkok.

Seeing as their first match under the kickboxing ruleset was very closely matched, fans and athletes alike, have been making their predictions without stopping.

'Mini-T' Danial Williams, who competes in MMA, Muay Thai, and kickboxing, shared his expert opinion of how this fight plays out.

Speaking to ONE this week about some of the advantages Tawanchai may have over his fellow countryman, the Aussie veteran said:

"Of course, Tawanchai has got more weapons now that this is in Muay Thai. But Jo has a Muay Thai background too. But I still think this plays into Tawanchai's advantage really."

Indeed, Tawanchai comes into the foray with the advantage of being traditionally rooted in Muay Thai compared to his opponent. He is at the prime of his career with over 130 professional wins to his credit and two successful world title defenses in ONE Championship.

As a kickboxer, Tawanchai admitted before that he's building on leveling up his skills up to the point of being a world-class champion. Perhaps Nattawaut only saw 60% of what Tawanchai is capable of.

ONE 167 is available live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
