Oleksandr Usyk’s promoter Alexander Krassyuk has made the terms clear should Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk be postponed beyond the April 29 date.

The undisputed heavyweight championship fight is slated for April 29 at Wembley Stadium. Team Usyk accepted a 70-30 split for the superfight that will decide the first-ever undisputed heavyweight champion in the four-belt era. However, Krassyuk has expressed his doubts on whether or not the bout will take place in April in an interview with Sky Sports News:

“The negotiations now go live on Instagram, so we see both fighters exchanging messages. We are expecting to get some basic agreement with the terms and things like that but it's still pending. We've been negotiating for so many months. We went through all the small issues, bigger issues, large issues, whatever."

Krassyuk then elaborated on what took the fight so long to sign and the terms Usyk would be willing to accept should the contest be postponed to a later date:

“So it's all done already. It's been done actually several weeks ago. But the one thing that was pending was Tyson's consent, which is still pending, though he claims he's ready and pretends he's training. However, if the fight date moves due to Fury's inability or unwillingness to move ahead, then Usyk is no longer willing to accept a split of 70-30. [Usyk's manager] Egis Klimas yesterday came out on Twitter saying that if it moves just for one day then it's going to be 50-50 again."

Oleksandr Usyk has rubbished claims from Tyson Fury that it was his side that was asking for a rematch clause for their fight in April. He further stated that the clause was an idea that came from Fury’s team initially.

Usyk took to Instagram to share a video in which he told Fury to "stop ducking" and that he 'needs’ the undisputed title:

“Greedy belly, rematch clause come from your side, not mine. Stop whining and ducking, be a man, ink the contract or vacate the belt. I need undisputed, and not to play your stupid games."

Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk have reportedly both started training camps and are expected to face off on April 29 for the undisputed heavyweight crown.
