'The War Horse' has been praised for his incredible performance against 'Poatan' this past Saturday, especially by UFC CEO Dana White. He absorbed noticeable damage to his right eye and nose from Pereira's jabs and powerful strikes. ESPN MMA posted a photo from Rountree's Instagram story, where he disclosed the level of pain experienced during the surgery:
