While McGregor was seen partying, he is still expected to make his octagon return against Michael Chandler later this year. He was originally scheduled to headline UFC 303 with 'Iron,' before a fractured toe forced his withdrawal to a divided opinion, with some fighters criticizing him, and others supporting him.
Despite fears that he may never fight again, 'The Notorious' recently assured Chandler that they will indeed fight in 2024 and no later. The UFC, though, has made no official statement on the Irishman's octagon return, with the promotion's CEO, Dana White, stating that he has nothing to say until the former is healed.
Conor McGregor has developed a significant interest in physical fitness since 2021
After fracturing his left tibia and fibula against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, Conor McGregor was sidelined given the career-threatening nature of the injury. During this time, 'The Notorious' poured himself into bodybuilding and physical fitness, developing the most muscular physique he ever had.
It drew so much attention from fans and fighters that McGregor's startling physical transformation sparked rumors of steroid use, which have never been confirmed.
