Jake Paul has become a disruptor in combat sports and has frequently called-out the UFC for shortchanging the fighters. He is hoping to carry over his success from boxing into MMA as he prepares to make his debut in the PFL this year.

MMA will require him to train in many different areas other than boxing if he wants to be successful, and UFC veteran Matt Brown recently warned him for what he's getting into.

While speaking with MMA Fighting, Brown touched on the dire consequences of competing in MMA fights.

He said:

"When you get into MMA fighters, these guys are just savages, fu**ing beasts. They're lions coming for blood. It's a different beast. These guys are savages. You can pick the right matchup and still lose. There's so many different ways to lose. It's just a different beast."

'The Immortal' also brought up that Jake Paul's training needs to be changed if he wants to be successful against MMA fighters. He mentioned that although Paul competes in another combat sport, it's still much different than MMA, saying:

"You can't train MMA and go box real boxers. You're going up against guys that are only working their hands in boxing six, eight hours a day versus guys - if you're training MMA - you've got to do jiu-jitsu, you've got to do wrestling, you've got to do the clinch, you've got to do kickboxing and then you've got to do some boxing. The sports are very, very different."

It's still unclear what date Jake Paul and the PFL are targeting for his MMA debut, which will definitely generate interest as they look to build their super-fight pay-per-view model.

UFC signs partnership with Logan Paul's Prime sports drink

Despite the back-and-forth between Jake Paul and Dana White in the media, it hasn't stopped his brother, Logan, from signing a significant partnership deal with the UFC.

Earlier this week, it was announced that 'The Maverick' and KSI's sports drink, Prime will now be the official drink of the UFC. The sports drink will replace Monster as the promotion's official partner.

This was quite the development as 'The Maverick' has a great relationship with the UFC President, while his brother, 'The Problem Child' has continued to call him out for issues related to fighter compensation and health.

As part of the deal, the red and blue corners in the octagon will now be referred to as the Prime hydration recovery zones.
