Michael Bisping is not happy with MMA fans who have started discrediting Jorge Masvidal after his recent losing streak.

In a recent video uploaded to his YouTube channel, Bisping discussed 'Gamebred's current rough patch in the UFC. 'The Count' reminded people of the incredible run Masvidal had in 2019 and claimed that MMA fans are fickle-minded to write him off after his recent losses:

"The 2019 run of Jorge Masvidal was incredible. He knocked out Darren Till. He knocked out Ben Askren and scored the quickest knockout ever in the UFC history and then beat down Nate Diaz, became the BMF."

Bisping further argued that the Miami native's recent losses were against two of the best welterweight fighters - Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington:

"Then he lost three in a row... And for some reason, MMA fans, they are so quick to write people off. They are so fickle. Granted, we are only as good as our last fight inside the octagon but come on! He only lost to Kamaru and Colby, the two best fighters on the planet in welterweight."

Masvidal has failed to register a win since November 2019. 'Gamebred' is currently on a three-fight losing skid and needs to turn things around in order to stay in contention for a title shot.

How did Jorge Masvidal respond to Gilbert Burns' repeated callouts?

One person keen to fight Jorge Masvidal is Gilbert Burns. On multiple occasions, the Brazilian has called out 'Gamebred' on social media.

'Durinho' also posted a tweet claiming that Masvidal declined a fight against him on three separate occasions:

Seeing this, 'Gamebred' issued a response. The Miami native uploaded a video where he stated his reasons for not accepting a fight. Masvidal added that he was open to fighting the Brazilian on the card where Leon Edwards would defend his title:

"I never agreed to November, December, or January. I've had court cases, I've had different things... If you wanna get your a** whooped when Leon Edwards defends that f***ing belt in England, I will gladly beat the living sh** out of you, Gilbert."
