Former ONE strawweight kickboxing world champion Jonathan Di Bella of Canada and Italy wants all the smoke, and he's looking to take on the biggest and baddest fighters in ONE Championship.
Di Bella says that right now, he is fully fixated on regaining the world title, and is willing to face any of the most dangerous names in the division, including the legendary Sam-A Gaiyanghadao, and young stars Zhang Peimian and Rui Botelho.
He is set to face the latter next week in a fight he hopes will kick off another world title run.
Speaking to Combat Sports Today in a recent interview, Di Bella had this to say about the potential matchups.
"All the names you said, all the names you mentioned are all tough fights. All interesting fights, and they’re all fights I'm interested in for sure. But right now I got to focus on Rui [Botelho] and that's it. But after that, yeah, all those names that you mentioned, man."
He added:
"They all sound great and you know that's why I signed up for the sport, you know? I didn't come to fight like just to get win, you know? I just want to fight the high-level competition and be the best out of all of them, you know."
