Rodtang had nothing but words of respect and admiration for Joseph Lasiri’s blockbuster showdown with Prajanchai PK.Saenchai.

Ahead of their highly anticipated champion vs. champion fight at ONE on Prime Video 4, ‘The Iron Man’ Rodtang Jitmuangnon is doing his due diligence by re-watching Joseph Lasiri’s successful world title matchup against the then-defending ONE strawweight world champion Prajanchai PK.Saenchai.

This past May, Lasiri shocked the world with how well he dictated the pace of the fight with technique and precision while pouring on the damage. It took the Italian-Moroccan striker only three rounds to force Prajanchai to quit on the stool before the fourth.

After delivering a performance like that, fans believe Joseph Lasiri’s TKO victory could be considered the biggest upset of the year.

'The Iron Man' was also impressed by his upcoming challenger’s heroic finish, praising him for his cerebral performance against a tough competitor like Prajanchai. He exclusively told ONE Championship:

“What impressed me in that fight is that Joseph was able to predict Prajanchai’s movements. He tried to get close to Prajanchai from the beginning of the fight to seal Prajanchai's footwork. This man did his homework so well. I found that he had a great game plan.”

The Pattaya-born phenom is looking forward to his upcoming world title clash with the newly-crowned strawweight king.

Despite having a deep sense of admiration for the challenger, the divisional king believes his punching power and lasting durability will limit Lasiri’s chances to exercise his game plan and win the match.

So, expect the two world champions to turn up the intensity as they compete for ultimate glory in front of millions of sports fans across the globe.

Rodtang feels he can’t put on a show without the support of his fans

Rodtang wouldn’t be the superstar he is today without the support of his fans.

Following an early exit from the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world Grand Prix tournament this year due to a difficult weight cut, which Rodtang apologized for with a long Instagram post he released the day after , ‘The Iron Man’ returns to circle with a renewed sense of motivation to do right by his North American fans.

As a pressure fighter who feeds off the energy of the crowd to win matches, the Thai striker hopes he can once again count on their support for the biggest world title defense of his career.

He told ONE Championship:

“I care for my fans who always follow me and want to see me put on a show. I want to entertain them in every fight. Without them, there wouldn’t be a Rodtang today.”

ONE on Prime Video 4 will be broadcast live and for free to North America with a Prime Video subscription.
