Jose Aldo once surprised Neymar Jr. on the football pitch when the former UFC champion executed a perfect 'rainbow flick' over his opponent, a signature move used by the Brazilian football maestro quite often.

The video dates back to 2014 when Neymar Jr. and Aldo crossed paths at a 'Football Against Hunger' charity match in Brazil. The two Brazilian stars were on opposing teams, with several local and national celebrities participating as well.

Jose Aldo could be seen receiving the ball in his own half and almost immediately proceeded to use one of Neymar's signature moves against him and dribbled away in true 'Joga Bonito' tradition.

Neymar is well known for showing off his incredible skills during games, but this time, the Paris Saint-Germain superstar got a taste of his own medicine. Jose Aldo's cleanly done trick and quick feet left Neymar stunned as he looked on in awe.

Jose Aldo is known as one of the greatest featherweights of all time. Many even consider him to be among the greatest fighters to ever do it. Aldo announced his retirement in September earlier this year, losing his final bout via unanimous decision to Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 278 in August.

The 'King Of Rio' retired with a 31-8 record in MMA.

When Conor McGregor vowed to "smoke" Neymar Jr.

Conor McGregor once took a dig at Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar Jr. promising to "smoke" him and his fellow countryman, Charles Oliveira.

Back in January, 'The Notorious' seemed to be keeping an eye on the former UFC lightweight champion's activities online. Oliveira had posted a photo of himself with Neymar Jr. and McGregor decided it was a good opportunity to rekindle the rivalry between him and the nation of Brazil.

Conor McGregor posted to his Instagram stories to take shots at Oliveira and Neymar. He wrote:

"Smoke the two of these."

Meanwhile, the former lightweight champion is not afraid of Conor McGregor and has previously called out the Irishman. Back in May, 'do Bronx' beat Justin Gaethje after losing his belt as a penalty for missing weight. Soon after, Oliveira stated in an interview with Mike Bohn of MMA Junkie, that he wants to choose McGregor as his next opponent, stating:

"He always cuts the line and everyone knows that happens when Conor is on. He cuts the line. I think I deserve to choose and I'm choosing Conor."

Oliveira ultimately fought and lost the belt to Islam Makhachev at UFC 280. However, a future bout against the Irishman is not off the cards as of yet.
