In what could be considered a setback for Jake Paul, Tommy Fury seems to have snubbed a rematch with him for a bout with YouTuber KSI. Fury beat Paul via split decision in February this year.

According to a report by The Mirror, Tommy Fury's father John Fury wants his younger son to abandon the rematch with 'The Problem Child' in favor of a bout with KSI.

Here's what John Fury said about a possible Tommy Fury vs. KSI matchup:

"I have been in talks with the Sauerland brothers about a possible match-up with their man KSI. I had a meeting with them the other day and it went well. Let’s see what happens. I am still waiting to hear from them, but they did text me the other day saying they are really busy and they are on it."

Fury Sr. continued:

"If it can be done, we will do it. Whoever else wants to box Tommy, ring the number and get in touch. I don’t deal with the Jake Paul rematch, I am on a rest period and I have just left that to my lawyer. But I’m sure if it can be done, we can do it."

Jake Paul had a rematch clause inserted into the fight contract with Tommy Fury, which 'The Problem Child' said he'd activate in case of a defeat. However, with a potential fight between 'TNT' and 'The Nightmare' being discussed, an immediate rematch between Fury and Paul might not happen in the summer as anticipated.

That time Jake Paul trained with Bo Nickal

On a recent episode of BS w/ Jake Paul, 'The Problem Child' was seen training with UFC middleweight ace Bo Nickal. Nickal is a credentialed NCAA Division-1 wrestler who is currently 4-0 in MMA. Paul has high-school wrestling credentials and is a competent boxer.

Jake Paul is set to make his MMA debut with the PFL after signing with the organization last year. If there was one aspect of MMA that Paul would have to work on, it would be his grappling. It is understood that Paul might face adversity should he meet a talented grappler in the cage.

Bo Nickal told Paul that he needn't focus on working his wrestling defense as much, as it would be favorable for him to use his boxing to set up offensive wrestling moves. Nickal then showed 'The Problem Child' how to set up a power single leg takedown.

It is unclear as to when the younger Paul will make his cage debut. As soon as he signed with the PFL, Paul called out Nate Diaz to a two-fight boxing/MMA deal.
