Amanda Ribas and Tracy Cortez are set to face-off in one of the most interesting bouts on the UFC Orlando preliminary card this weekend. Cortez currently has a flawless 4-0 record in the UFC, with her opponent having an organizational record of 5 wins and 2 losses.

However, since joining the organization in 2019, Ribas has consistently tested herself against some of the toughest fighters in the UFC. The Brazilian was unbeaten in her first four outings in the UFC, beating the likes of Emily Whitmire, Mackenzie Dern, Randa Markos and Paige VanZant.

But during her last three outings in the UFC, Amanda Ribas has struggled, losing two of her last three bouts. Ribas' only win came against Virna Jandiroba, with her two losses coming after facing Marina Rodriguez and Katlyn Chookagian.

As mentioned, Tracy Cortez is currently unbeaten in the UFC. She has also fought some tough opponents since joining the organization in 2019 after a successful transition from Dana White's Contender Series.

After beating Mariya Agapova in the Contender Series, Cortez went on to beat the likes of Vanessa Melo, Stephanie Egger, Justine Kish and Melissa Gatto. Ribas will likely be Cortez's toughest test since joining the UFC, with the bout looking like one to watch this weekend.

Who was the first fighter to beat Amanda Ribas in professional MMA?

Amanda Ribas has an impressive professional MMA record of 11 wins and just 3 losses and is very much a well-known name in the UFC. Her first professional defeat came back in 2015, when taking on Polyana Viana at Jungle Fight 83.

Viana beat her Brazilian counterpart via stoppage in the very first round, with both women going on to fight under the UFC banner later in their careers. Ribas bounced back well from her first loss, remaining unbeaten until 2021 and successfully transitioning to life in the UFC.

Her second defeat came against Marina Rodriguez at UFC 257: Poirier vs. McGregor 2, with Ribas once again suffering an early stoppage loss, losing in the second round against Rodriguez.

Amanda Ribas's most recent loss came in her latest outing, when taking on UFC title challenger Katlyn Chookagian. The Brazilian lost a close split decision, which wasn't a bad loss given Chookagian's reputation in the UFC.
