Aliff Sor Dechapan seems destined to face two-sport ONE world champion Prajanchai PK Saenchai in the near future. While mathematics isn't his strongest subject, the Thai-Malaysian striking maestro has a straightforward solution to get himself ready to face one of the best Muay Thai stars of this generation.
Shortly after amassing his fourth consecutive win in ONE Championship against Morocco's Elmehdi El Jamari at ONE Fight Night 32, the Sor Dechapan warrior faced off with the PK Saenchai Muaythaigym man inside the Circle—a moment that potentially signals Prajanchai's next Muay Thai world title defense.
Though both men appeared to be all smiles shortly after their intense staredown inside the Lumpinee Stadium, Aliff believes it will be purely business when everything is signed and locked in on paper.
"To fight Prajanchai, I will have to train ten times harder. It won't be easy," the 21-year-old martial artist told Astro Arena during an exclusive post-fight interview in Bangkok last week.

Throughout his time in ONE Championship, the young gun has meticulously upgraded his craft while taking on one big name after another. So, fans can be sure that he would leave no stone unturned to put up a proper fight against the reigning ONE strawweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion.
He registered three knockouts—against Rittidet Kiatsongrit, Ratchadej Sor Petjumrat, and Peyman Zolfaghari—from five appearances at ONE Friday Fights on his way to a US$100,000 contract. And he hasn't disappointed since competing on the main roster live in American primetime.
With two more highlight-reel finishes from four triumphs, the Muay Thai specialist fully deserves his chance to face the seemingly unstoppable Prajanchai.
It will undoubtedly be a tall order, but Aliff is ready to give it his all to walk out of the Circle with 26 pounds of gold and recognition as the first ONE world champion from Malaysia.
North American fight fans can rewatch his dominant win over El Jamari at ONE Fight Night 32 on Amazon Prime Video. Meanwhile, fans around the globe can relive all the action from the spectacle for free at watch.onefc.com.
Prajanchai says it'll be an 'honor' to defend his crown against Aliff
Prajanchai is more than happy to put his gold on the line against the rising star, who took his career to 61-9 with his unanimous decision win over El Jamari.
The Muay Thai and kickboxing king gave his flowers to the Sor Dechapan knockout artist and told Circle-side color commentator Mitch Chilson shortly after the faceoff:
"First of all, I want to say congratulations to Aliff, and I’m sending support to El Jamari. If one day this match does happen, it will be my honor."
The 30-year-old double champ was last in action in the main event of ONE Fight Night 28 this past February.
He put British dynamite Ellis Badr Barboza away in the fourth round via TKO to successfully defend his Muay Thai strap for the first time since he reclaimed it with a violent finish of Joseph Lasiri in December 2023.
