UFC 285 location: Where is the event being held and which fights have been confirmed?

UFC 285 is a pay-per-view card scheduled to be headlined by Jon Jones vs. Ciryl Gane that will go down on March 4.

The event will go down at the T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas, which has been the UFC's most frequented venue barring the Apex. Home of the NHL's Vegas Golden Knights, the venue houses an average audience of 20,000 for combat sports events.

The venue even prematurely put up posters for UFC 285 before the title fight was announced.

Jon Jones will be returning to the octagon after a hiatus of three years to make a bid for the heavyweight title left vacant by Francis Ngannou's UFC exit. Meanwhile, Ciryl Gane is coming off a stoppage win over Tai Tuivasa that saw him bounce back from his lone career loss against Ngannou. After surprisingly opening up as an underdog, 'Bones' has now climbed to a slight -130 favorite status.

The UFC 285 co-main event will feature Valentina Shevchenko in a flyweight title defense against Alexa Grasso. Former three-time NCAA champion Bo Nickal will also make his UFC debut on the main-card opposite Jamie Pickett.

Surging Kazakh welterweight Shavkat Rakhmonov will take on perennial contender Geoff Neal in a main-card matchup that was rescheduled from a fight night in January.

Meanwhile, Dan Hooker recently pulled out of a promising lightweight matchup against Jalin Turner. Turner thankfully found a replacement in Mateusz Gamrot, who is ranked even higher than 'The Hangman'.

Former UFC bantamweight champ Cody Garbrandt will also fight a replacement in Trevin Jones after his scheduled opponent Julio Arce pulled out.

The undercard also includes a potential middleweight barnburner between Derek Brunson and Dricus du Plessis.
