Reigning UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling has offered advice to Dillon Danis after he withdrew from his boxing fight with KSI, which forced Misfits Boxing to search for a replacement on short notice.

Sterling uploaded a video to his YouTube channel where he analyzed the situation and gave thoughts on Danis as a competitor. He mentioned that 'El Jefe' should stop with his act and just compete:

"I think the clown show and Dillon Danis is just about up. People keep talking about him and commenting. I think it's good for him that he's still in the talks, but no one is taking him serious and no one is going to support with the monetary value of Dillon Danis until he actually goes out there and competes." Sterling added that 'El Jefe' needs to stop agreeing to terms for a fight only to withdraw. 'Aljo' believes that the Bellator fighter has great grappling skills and it's only a matter of committing to a fight for him to make some dough:

"Dude, what are you doing? Are you going to compete or not? 'Cause if you're not, then dude, stop with the shenanigans and the charades because it's just kinda like... I wanna know if I should really be paying attention to you or not. Like yeah, you've fought, you're still in your prime, but you're wasting your best years...dude. Go out there and go make some money." [27:28 - 27:52]

Based on what just transpired with KSI and their fight not materializing, it will be interesting to see whether Bellator is reluctant about booking a fight for 'El Jefe' in the future.

KSI says he won't be pursuing a fight with Dillon Danis anymore

KSI was obviously upset that Dillon Danis agreed to fight only to withdraw later on.

While speaking with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, KSI mentioned that he regretted putting faith in 'El Jefe' showing up to the fight. KSI noted that the Bellator fighter's recent appearance on The MMA Hour led him to believe that he was committed to the fight and promoting it.

When asked if he would make another attempt to put the fight together in the future, KSI was quick to shut it down:

"No, no, no, no, no, it's done. It’s done. F*** him. F*** Dillon. I hope everyone forgets about him and he disappears into irrelevancy... I've literally told Mams [manager] that I don't want him anywhere near it [Misfits boxing events]... If you disrespect me like that, I just cut you out."
