UFC featherweight calls out PFL Champion Brendan Loughnane

Brendan Loughnane competed in Dana White's Contender Series (DWCS) in 2019 and defeated his opponent. Despite winning the fight, Loughnane was unable to impress Dana White and thus did not receive a UFC contract. Since then, the fighter has fought for the PFL.

While he may have been concerned about not securing a deal with the premiere promotion, he is no longer an unknown figure. The Manchester-born fighter recently won the PFL featherweight title and $1 million after defeating Bubba Jenkins.

Soon after, UFC featherweight contender Charles Rosa took to his official Twitter handle and suggested a matchup between him and Loughnane with a million on the line.

In response, the newly-crowned PFL featherweight champ wrote saying:

"I’d happily put the mill up but can you match it?"

The UFC featherweight, in no time, responded, asking the PFL champ to prove himself:

"You earned the belt and💰 however we know you want to show the world you are really the best. FIGHT ME AND PROVE IT. I’ll put up all 4 of my UFC FOTN BONUSES $200k!!! I beat #1 145lbs 🌎 Yair Rodriguez in one of the bonuses 🇺🇸Vs🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Lets scrap and show the world if you are elite." [sic]

With his current win over Jenkins, Brendan Loughnane currently stands tall with a fight record of 25 wins with only four losses so far in his career.

Charles Rosa, on the other hand, is currently on a three-fight losing streak. The fighter currently holds a fight record of 14 wins and eight losses in his career.

UFC should sign Brendan Loughnane according to Conor McGregor

UFC poster boy Conor McGregor seemed quite impressed with Loughnane's recent performance. According to the Irishman, the Englishman would be a great addition to the UFC, especially given his back story with the promotion.

Taking to his official Twitter handle, the former two-division champ wrote:

"UFC, sign Brendan Loughnane. Exciting fighter. A back story with the company. And of the European side. A money in the bank uk/Europe signing. Congrats on the win @BrendanMMA"
