Round 1: Battle is immediately on the front foot, landing low kicks and jabs before catching Jousset along the fence with some hard shots. Jousset clinches and they fight for position as Battle works for a takedown. Some knees in the clinch for Battle, but not much comes of their clinch battle.
They break and Battle lands some shots. They're back in the clinch, Battle is working for the takedown but gets reversed by a hip toss. He's back on his feet though, and they're pummeling in the clinch again, with Battle in control.
They separate and Battle eats a big jab but he quickly retakes control with his own shots. The round ends with another Battle takedown attempt. 10-9 Battle
Round 2: Battle applies immediate pressure, landing some good shots and kicks. They're back in the clinch, but Jousset fires back. Both men start trading, bloodying each other's noses before Battle reenters the clinch, landing some elbows and uppercuts on the inside.
They break after some more cage-work from Battle, but he's turning it up now, landing combinations and blasting Jousset's midsection with kicks. They clinch for a split-second and Battle lands some nice elbows. They break and trade punches, with Battle getting the better of the exchange. Battle has Jousset on wobbly legs, and the fight's over.
