UFC light heavyweights Magomed Ankalaev and Thiago Santos collided in a five-round contest in the main event of UFC Fight Night: Santos vs. Ankalaev.
Coming into the fight, Ankalaev was riding a highly impressive seven-fight win streak that included wins over fighters like Volkan Oezdemir, Ion Cutelaba and Nikita Krylov.
Santos, on the other hand, broke his three-fight losing streak in his last fight. 'Marreta' defeated Johnny Walker in a five-round contest in October 2021 to return to winning ways.
The co-main event saw a bantamweight clash between Marlon Moraes and Song Yadong.
Prior to this fight, 'Magic' was on a three-fight skid in the UFC. Meanwhile, Yadong had won his last two fights in the promotion.
The entire card was stacked with exciting fights and they all lived up to the hype.

The main event of UFC Fight Night 203 saw a light heavyweight clash between Magomed Ankalaev and Thiago Santos. The fight managed to last all five rounds and Ankalaev took home the victory via unanimous decision.
The co-main event between Marlon Moraes and Song Yadong was a short-lived affair. In the opening minutes of the fight, Yadong landed a combo on 'Magic' that knocked him out. In his post-fight interview, 'The Kung Fu Monkey' called out Dominick Cruz for a fight.
Sodiq Yusuff and Alex Caceres fought for the entirety of their 15-minute fight. The contest ended with a unanimous decision victory for Yusuff, who called out Bryce Mitchell in his post-fight interview.
Khalil Rountree Jr. put his superior striking skills on display and finished Karl Roberson via TKO in the second round of the fight.
A lightweight banger between Terrance McKinney and Drew Dober also went down at UFC Fight Night: Santos vs. Ankalaev. McKinney dropped Dober at the start of the round and started landing heavy shots on him.
However, Dober managed to recover and return fire, knocking out McKinney in the first round.
In his second appearance in the UFC octagon, Alex Pereira scored a unanimous decision victory over Bruno Silva at UFC Fight Night: Santos vs. Ankalaev.
