The UFC is returning to the Apex Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, for UFC Fight Tonight: Grasso vs. Araujo (also known as UFC Fight Night 212 and UFC Vegas 62). The action is set to go down this Saturday, October 15, with a series of intriguing matchups lined up for the fight fans.

The UFC Fight Tonight card will be headlined by a women's flyweight clash between No.5-ranked contender Alexa Grasso and No.6-ranked Viviane Araujo.

The co-main event of UFC Fight Tonight will see MMA veteran Cub Swanson make his bantamweight debut against the up-and-coming Jonathan Martinez. Swanson is fresh off a stunning first-round technical knockout win over Darren Elkins in December.

Martinez, meanwhile, will be determined to build upon his three-fight win streak when he takes on the toughest opponent of his promotional career so far.

Also on the card, No.4-ranked contender Askar Askarov will square off against No.5-ranked Brandon Royval in what promises to be an exciting flyweight contest. The main card will also play host to a middleweight showdown between Jordan Wright and Dusko Todorovic. In the event's main card opener, Misha Cirkunov will battle Alonzo Menifield in a light heavyweight matchup.

UFC Fight Tonight: Alexa Grasso and Viviane Araujo continue their quest towards title contention

The women's flyweight division will take center stage at UFC Vegas 62 this Saturday when Alexa Grasso meets Viviane Araujo in a five-round matchup.

Grasso has been unbeaten since moving up to flyweight in late 2020 when she defeated Ji Yeon Kim via unanimous decision. The 29-year-old flyweight is currently on a three-fight win streak with her latest victory coming over Joanne Wood via first-round submission in March. The Mexican standout will look to continue her strong run of form when she takes on a dangerous opponent this Saturday.

Viviane Araujo dropped a unanimous decision against former title challenger Katlyn Chookagian in May 2021 but bounced back with a decision win of her own against Andrea Lee in May this year. The Brazilian will now look to halt Grasso's momentum and break into the divisional top five.
