Eryk Anders took on Kyle Daukaus in a middleweight scrap at UFC Fight Night: Thompson vs. Holland.

The fight was scheduled for three rounds on the main card of the event. Anders got the better of Daukaus on multiple occasions during the fight. 'Ya Boi' hurt his opponent several times without a solid response from Daukaus.

At one point, the fight was also halted due to an accidental head-clash between the two 185-pounders.

The fight came to a closure in the second round when Anders landed a barrage of strikes on 'The D'Arce Knight' which went unanswered by Daukaus.

Daukaus is now on a two-fight losing streak in the promotion. With the victory, Anders broke his two-fight skid in the UFC. This was also the first time since June 2019, when 'Ya Boi' scored a finish inside the UFC octagon.

Anders has been leading a busy schedule in the UFC. 'Ya Boi' made his UFC debut in July 2017 and to this day, has had 15 fights in the promotion.

During his stint in the promotion, the 35-year-old has shared the octagon with the likes of Khalil Rountree Jr., Gerald Meerschaert, Lyoto Machida, Elias Theodorou, Darren Stewart, Andre Muniz, Krzysztof Jotko and Thiago Santos.

Although he is currently 7-7-1 in the multi-billion dollar promotion, Anders is always high on entertainment value and will likely stay in the UFC for the next few fights.

Eryk Anders calls out Jamie Pickett for a fight

After the impressive win, Eryk Anders spoke to Daniel Cormier in his post-fight octagon interview. 'Ya Boi' spoke about his fighting style and said that he was open to making a quick turnaround and compete at UFC 282.

Anders called out Jamie Pickett, saying he would fight him on week's notice as Pickett's opponent had withdrawn from the fight:

"I was saying earlier, I try to make things pretty, but you know, I'm pretty but my fighting style's ugly and that's how I gotta do it, you know. I know, Jamie Pickett had an opponent he's supposed to fight next week that fell out. So. I'm available."
